AVANTPET cool gel is made from vegetable glycerine (VG), which is approved by the FDA for its use in food additive, and carboxy-methylcellulose (CMC), used in functional cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Cool mats have a problem of fungal growth due to temperature difference.

AVANTPET cool gel makes use of AVANTPET’s technology that prevents fungal growth within the cool mat itself. Natural antibiotic, phytoncide, is produced by trees.
